12:00 - 1:00 PM: What to know about EMBER, a discussion of the practical consequences of the Berkeley Fire Code, along with HelpBerkeley's new EMBER Code Summary Guide.

1:00 - 2:00 PM: A Path to Insurability in the Berkeley Hills: presentation and panel discussion detailing what has been discovered in the last 6 months of HelpBerkeley's discussions with insurance companies and experts. There IS a practical path for many.

2:00 - 4:00 PM: Gates and Fences Vendors' Day, featuring a short presentation and tables for pre-qualified vendors. Residents will get a brief introduction discussing different non-combustible fence and gate technologies along with pricing comparisons, then will have 1.5 hours to meet with pre-qualified vendors who have installations in the Hills and good reviews. DIYers will also be present to discuss their own experience. There will be a handout with contact information.

4:00 - 5:00 PM: Best Practices in Home Hardening, presentation by architect Sheryl Drinkwater (about 45 minutes, followed by Q&As). Sheryl is well-known in the East Bay for her deep and thorough knowledge of home hardening. She is also the president of the Diablo Firesafe Council.

5:00 - 7:00 PM: Sunday Series Potluck for all residents in the WUI! Come and Join us with your children, friends, cousins and in-laws!
